Detroit District Community Outreach Volunteer Form

This form is for all community outreach events.  We are currently coordinating sign-ups for:

 

  • Colgate Bus - oral health kits, free education, dental screenings - August 23 & 24, 2023 (sign up for one day)
  • Team Smile/ Detroit Lions  - free dental clinic for Detroit Elementary School Children - October 20, 2023 
  • Community Outreach Committee Members for planning and coordination
  • Mission of Mercy - MDA Foundation - Flint - June 14-16, 2023

Highlight Team Smile/ Detroit Lions

The Detroit District is participating with Team Smile, a nonprofit organization that partners with sports teams to provide good oral health education and a dental clinic to children in underserved communities.  The Detroit Lions have supported this program for  many years and it is held at the Detroit Lions Stadium.

Detroit District Dental Society Volunteer Sign-up Form


The Detroit District Dental Society members participate in many activities to promote good oral health and dental education in our community.  We do have committees who work on this project and need volunteers for each program.  If you have any questions please contact the office at 313.337.4900 or email centraloffice@detroitdentalsociety.com 

This work is open to dentists, staff, pre-dental students, and those who wish to serve their community in promoting good oral health and dental care.  The heartfelt goodwill and joy shared with others we provide along with all materials and information for each event.
